Hello {{First name | there}},
One of the things I remind clients all the time is this:
Everything costs time or money.
If we’ve ever talked through a project - whether it was something you were thinking about doing yourself or something you might hire us to do - you’ve heard me say it.
That’s true for content too.
You can invest the time to create it yourself.
Or you can invest money to have someone else do the work.
Either way, the goal is the same: content that sounds like you and helps your customers.
That’s why today’s task isn’t writing - it’s outlining.
And we’re keeping it simple.
If you skipped a step, this is part of the “Build a 3-Month Content Queue” series. Here’s the link so you can find all of the email series from Grow with OptSus.
This week’s step:
✅ Take your 13 customer questions and create 13 quick outlines.
Don’t worry about grammar. Don’t write full paragraphs.
Just jot down what you'd say if someone asked you that question in real life.
Think bullets, phrases, maybe a short story or example.
Real example:
Question: How long does it take to build a website?
Outline:
Depends on scope, ecommerce?, custom code?
Most businesses need a simple website with up to 15 pages
The most common delays are caused by clients pulling focus to run their business. To address this, we work on a set schedule that requires input from clients on Wed and Fri each week. They can block 1 hour each of those days and keep the project on schedule.
A 5 week project includes 10 opportunities for feedback to ensure we remain on schedule and on budget.
That's it. That’s enough to build a solid article in your voice.
Tips for speed:
Use your actual language - not marketing buzzwords
Talk it out, then type it up
Set a timer for one hour and batch all 13
💡 These outlines are the blueprint for content that represents you, not just fills your website.
Want help?
Hit reply and send me one of your outlines.
I’ll give you honest, constructive feedback - and maybe a few ways to sharpen your message.
📬 Coming next...
You’ve got your outlines. Next, we’ll show you how to turn them into full articles quickly - without sounding like AI wrote them.
It’s easier than you think - and you’ll still sound like you.
Talk soon,
Frank
P.S.
If you'd rather hand the outlines to my team and have us turn them into full blog posts, we do that every week in our Content Writing Service. Just let me know.
